Today is our four year wedding anniversary and I thought instead of sharing a wedding photo, I would share a photo from when we were first dating. (That’s me before I had Invisalign.) Here’s us at the Johnny Appleseed festival, our FAVORITE thing to do next to dressing up for Halloween.

Since we love that festival so much and the weather is also so perfect and beautiful, we chose our wedding date to be on the same weekend of Johnny Appleseed festival. That way, we figured the weather would be awesome and we would have a fun thing to do every year on our anniversary and we get doubly excited. Truth be told, the day before our outdoor wedding was super freezing and raining and I had a total bridezilla breakdown. (in the privacy of my home, thankfully.) However, it ended up being totally gorgeous and perfect on our wedding day. (We had the sweetest little backyard wedding.) So brides to be, feel free to plan your wedding on this upcoming weekend for next year. It will be GORGEOUS. At least it has for the past ten years that I have been going to the festival.

Oh, and I want to share a cute story. So when we picked Miles up from his first day of pre-school, his backpack had a clip on it with a note. The note said, “This is where I will leave notes to parents and parents are to clip tuition payments, notes and book orders to this clip.” In unison, John and I looked up at each other with huge smiles on our faces and said, “BOOK ORDERS!!!” We both got so excited about getting to place book orders at Miles’s school. Man, we are both such nerds and in the same exact way. I LOVE IT!!!!
