Our spring break was spent in the Arkansas Ozarks for a little King Family reunion a couple weeks ago. It was the first time Miles met John’s three brothers and the first time we had all been together since John and I got married back in 2005. So of course, photos needed to be taken!
John’s brothers from Texas had sent Miles this “Don’t mess with Texas” T shirt. The bummer is I only packed one lens and couldn’t get back far enough to get the whole t shirt in. Anyway, in case you didn’t get it, this is Miles’ best “Don’t mess with Texas” face.
Miles learned many faces from his uncles during our time together. I would say Miles definitly has his “Mark fish face” down.
We had lots of rain, but once it stopped, we got outside for some photo ops. Here’s the whole King family posing for my camera doing it’s thing sitting on a jungle gym. I only took two shots and we got everybody looking at the camera. How’s that for a miracle with 9 people? I love John’s smile in this photo. It’s so smiley! BTW, don’t ask me why I didn’t bother to take my hair out of a headband for the family photo. Oh well. : )
After some posed photos I encouraged John and his brothers to just gather around and talk with Miles for some more casual shots.
As you can see, John’s brother Jeff was showing Miles how to stick out his tongue and once again, Miles learned a new face to make from his uncles. The kid is definitely a personality sponge!
Back to the obligatory, but always nice to have, posed shots for the family album.
Mark, Miles, John, Chris and Jeff King (If you are wondering where John falls in the birth order, John is the second oldest.)
Miles’ aunt Wendi took some photos of Miles swimming in the indoor pool with her awesome (and now coveted by me) underwater digital camera. So those will be coming soon.
More coming soon of Paul’s senior photo shoot. For now, I’m going to bed. Nighty night!
What wonderful pictures…all those great smiles. Donna and Tom must be so proud of all their guys. I am so glad they got to experience our little guy. Lots of love from the Smith’s.
Great family photos, Betsy! It looks gorgeous there- glad you all got some good King Family Quality Time- you can tell Miles is soaking up the love!
Love you guys! Erin
Hey, I went to Virginia Tech too. ’93-’97. Great shots- love the crazy Grandpa face. 😉
Great family photos. I love Miles’ Don’t Mess with Texas face!
