“From tall oaks, mighty acorns grow.” In additional to girls and ladies clothing, Matilda Jane has a boys line called the Mighty Acorns. (CUTEST name for a boy’s clothing line EVER, Huh?)

Here’s Gabe, a very mighty little acorn himself. Such a precious little guy. Does he look familar? He and his brother Joe are currently the cover models of our website. I could talk on and on about this little sweetie and give link after link of favorite photos, but it’s late and I’m tired. Wow, I’m such a dedicated blogger, aren’t I? If you have met me in person, this little guy and his bro are also splashed all over my business cards. LOVE this family!

Oh, and those BLUE eyes. It’s definitely little Miles Alexander. We met up with this little guy at the Mocha Lounge on a nice snowy day in April. Gotta love the Mocha Lounge as a willing location in a pinch. (Thank you ML!!) This little guy was really such a diva model. He showed up with messy hair, teething and really only wanted to model this outfit with one of his suspender straps off his shoulder. He also was only interested in searching under the couches for sweet and low wrappers, napkins and what appeared to be an old tube of chapstick. I tell you what, child models and their stage mom’s are just way too demanding these days. His stage mom insisted that she have a soy spiced chai and it HAD to be a large. Ok, whatevvvvver!

I actually had Miles in that outfit today with organic babylegs on. Very cute! I’ll load photos for that later. My latest thing on miles has been shorts and babylegs. More on that later. Tonight we were busy processing a recent shoot and booking flights and hotel for a wedding coming up that will be a little get away trip for us to Atlanta. I have to say, just coming back from a family trip to the Ozarks that had some completely horrendous and longgggg traveling conditions makes us not so gung ho about traveling again, but this is for our friend Sara who is the SWEETEST soul ever and it will be a really nice weekend and so awesome to see her get married. Plus, it’s a direct flight to Atlanta, so it’s a hop, skip and a jump. (I know, everyone thinks we are diva’s because we don’t drive anywhere, but we are emotionally scarred from a trip to SC where we sat in traffic for hours in a stand still on the way there with nothing but 1 country music station and a mix CD to listen to and then the ride home we were sick with a cold and we just can’t bring ourselves to drive again.) This awesome friend that is getting married is Sara, who send us that sweet gift basket and homemade t shirt for Miles from this post.

Thanks for hanging in there with my never ending blog post about my sick dog last night. She’s doing much better and is slowly becoming more of herself again.
