I was thrilled to be a part of the photography for this spring’s Matilda Jane Clothing Good Hart collection. The main parts of the collection are photographed by some extremely talented photographers across the country. Then MJC blends them all together to tell the full story of their (huge) collection. It’s an honor to get to see the secret samples before their release and of course get to work with some favorite girls of mine. These little laidies might look familar to you, they are the adorable twin sisters that live next door to us and we just adore them. We usually get to see them daily in the summer, but these cold winter months are keeping us all shut inside where it’s warm. So it was super fun to work on this project together. You see, Matilda Jane sells the same article of clothing in sizes 12 months as they do for tweens. So it’s helpful to have some photos of teens wearing their pieces in addition to tiny models as well. That’s where these two came in. Aren’t they just DOLLS? They are as beautiful on the inside as they are on the outside.

Joss got to get in on the photoshoot action, and she totally shocked me by modeling like a little pro! (Instead of running laps around the studio. It was a miracle!) However, the clothes she wore were for the second (third or fourth?) release coming out later this spring. Here’s a little sneak peek. (Oh and yes, those are polka dots you see. They are super hot this season!)

The next release, which is on March 1st, should hopefully allow me to post even more pics!
