I’m typing this from my phone, at a coffee shop, while my kids play at my feet while sniffling from the throes of a bad cold. My house is currently upside down from our paint makeover, which is happening right now. (Very exciting!!) I wish I had grabbed photos of the work in process, but it was a big enough feat getting all of us out the door with our kitchen full of extra furniture & painters in our living room, loft & entryway. Whew!

In other handicapping news, my amazing babysitter is so amazing that she is booked traveling with other families right now, so I’m trying my best to wrap up some last few straggling details before I open my calendar to booking sessions. It’s been a long time coming, but I’m dying to open up my books & get back to shooting again. Just gotta get the craziness around here to chill a bit.

Did I mention my daughter turns one this month? So there’s a party I should be planning too. (Can’t think about that right now. Head too foggy!)

So hang in there with me. Between being down a babysitter, sick with a lovely summer cold, a baby growing at the speed of light & my house upside down, I’m not running on all cylinders. Actually, I’m running on about triple the cylinders, but I doubt I’m qualified to be making car metaphors.

Shushing now. Time to go order another chai…
