Here’s a super quick sneak peek from Miles’ Cat in the Hat Birthday party today. I was flipping through photos and saw this one of the three of us and just had to share it. (Bummer that Jocelyn was napping.)

What a great, laid back little party we had. All of Miles’ cousins are much older than he is but they, along with my friends who don’t have kids, are all great sports at playing a long. Here’s some evidence of that:

Can I just say that drawing that goofy Cat in the Hat was the most relaxing part of my week? (Too bad my black marker dried up.) I really need to do some no pressure drawing just for fun and stress release more often. (I didn’t draw the hats though. I found those online and printed them off.)
