Oh July…how I love you so. The lazy days of summer to play in the blow up pool, put glitter in the water table and just play were sublime. School was on the horizon, but wasn’t BREATHING DOWN OUR NECK, like it is now. (NINE days till school starts. O M G.) Since losing my first born to all day Kindergarten was on the back of my mind, I was soaking up Miles as much as I could. (When he wasn’t playing with the neighbor kid!)
Here we are playing dominoes with a pug on my lap on an evening when John and Joss were gone and we had the house to ourselves. Love these moments when I’m not trying to get him to clean his room, go to the bathroom (before he drives us all crazy with his antsy pee dance!) or get his shoes on and get in the car.
Jocelyn is growing up like crazy too, which means there’s some potty training going on. I’m not going crazy on it yet, but letting her guide me.
That’s a peek into what I looked like in July!
my grandkids are so darn gorgeous. I am so happy you are a photographer, so I get to see lots of them…good job MOM & DAD.
