stuff you need…continued

All right, so you may recall the super cute Paperlili t-shirts that Miles modeled last weekend. Well, Cristy, the genius behind Paperlili clothing, asked me if I wouldn’t mind photographing a few of her clothing items for moms. Well before it truly donned on me that I would be the one modeling the clothes and I would be tearing my hubby away from his studio to photograph me, I said “Heck yea!” It was these scarves that convinced me. John was awesome and totally was a sweetheart for jumping in on this project with me. Bless him, he did a great job.

So, let’s talk about the scarves I teased you all with on Friday. I LOVE scarves. I love wearing super long skinny ones I can wrap around my neck and million times before I run out the door. These are super soft, which is more than I can say about a lot of my scratchy knited scarves. I’m sorry you can’t see all of the embellishments. We were outside on a verrrry windy day and running out of light. Thanks Day Light Savings Time. ugh!

Here’s a green “peace” one. I LOVE this green. I have a headband of this color, that if you know me, you know I wear it allll the time.

My favorite kind of blue with “Breathe” on it. (Ooh, perfect yoga instructor gift! Too bad I haven’t been to yoga in ages…)

One of my favorites, the grey “Love” scarf.

So yea, I’m totally hiding behind sunglasses. I am SO not used to being in front of the camera these days, so I needed to hide a bit. Plus it was windy and making me all water eyed. (That’s my story and I’m stickin to it.)

We thought we would make shooting this cute stuff a family affair and go shoot with Miles around town, but we can’t shoot and watch Miles, especially down town, so as much as I wanted hold Miles while I modeled the “My Kid Rocks” tee shirt, we headed out on our own. (We found a super cool spot for photos too! Bonus!)

So here’s Paperlili’s My Kid Rocks tee. I will be wearing this all the time.

Here’s a happy mom tee that Cristy made just for me. (She’ll also make you a custom one too. You can be cool mom, soccer mom, caffeinated mom…whatever says what you are.) Cute, huh?

If you think this stuff is fabulous, then head on over to Paperlili to check out all the cute stuff she has. Oh, and btw, how do I meet such an adorably creative link? I met her through Matilda Jane Clothing, of course. Speaking of which, I have never even posted the photos from the holiday line I did for MJC ages ago. I’ll be doing that soon, fall is a super crazy busy time for me so I’ll have lots of catching up to do over the next month or so.

Oh, and since I just blogged about 16 million photos of myself, here’s some Miles cuteness from his little impromptu recorder concert he gave us this morning.

He was always so surprised by the sound he made, he would make this face every time he blew into the recorder. Cracked us up.

I gotta run. Have a great week and try to stay warm. It’s SOOOOOO insanely cold out already!
