We are moving slow around here this morning. Miles is down for his morning nap, John’s reading the paper and I am leaving the breakfast dishes in the sink to process a few photos I took this morning. I’m a sucker for big, blue watery eyes.
Miles has no idea how to smile for the camera and I couldn’t be happier. This one works for me!
Miles’ little monkey ears and the banana paired together KILL me. My BFF Diane used to tell me that she thought John looked like a Precious Moments figurine because of his big eyes. I think we can say the same thing about Miles. Don’t you think?
Miles found his way into my closet this morning and stood before my shoe shelf and proclaimed, “SHOES!” Before we knew it he had them out in the living room to play. He is NUTS about shoes. He’s constantly walking around the house in big floppy shoes. This photo is sooo going in his graduation slideshow! 😉
So have you noticed the blog has been a lot more about my family lately and light on the client work? Well, after a very busy spring I challenged myself to take most of July off and not accept much client work. I needed this time to focus on my family and getting caught up on some big projects. It has been extremely hard saying no to some of my favorite clients but I have really been able to catch my breath and focus on just enjoying my family. July is coming to an end and I’m feeling refreshed and ready to jump back in again. I’ll be posting more about my shoot availability soon, but if you are thinking of booking a session with me this fall, please do not delay. I’m only accepting a limited number of sessions each month and only have one opening in December.
I’m off to go enjoy this beautiful summer day! Time to get off the computer!!!
That is one gorgeous monkey you have there! Love the shoe shot. 😉
His faces kill me!
Those photos are to die for! His eyes…and those shoes! Naughty woman! 🙂 LOL
Miles’s eyes are so sparkly/perfect. 🙂 And I am in love with his (and yours?) shoe choice! Ha ha! Only a real man ccan pull off the black pumps!
OMG!! I just LOVE the photo of Miles in your shoes. That is priceless!
These are beautiful! What gorgeous eyes!! Im glad that you are taking more time for family. It goes by so fast!
