We just got back from South Carolina where we visited John’s parents over thanksgiving. They were wonderful hosts and we made sure we stopped at a couple of fun places along the way. I asked Miles what his favorite part of the trip was and he said, “Everything.” (insert “Awwwwwww!” here) The kids had a blast and even though long journeys can be taxing (ok, they are a ton of work) the time away from every day distractions always allows us to see our kids in a whole new light and really soak them up.
