This morning we woke up to the coolest looking mushrooms that bloomed outside our front door. I immediately thought about how what little imaginary creatures would live, nestled under the toadstools. Miles didn’t buy the idea that tiny gnomes might live amongst them, so I thought perhaps he could make his own story.

I told Miles that he should make a little scene with his toys and then we could take some photos of it. He was totally game, so we played a bit.

Miles loved the idea of being a giant!

The end. Kind of a violent ending, but no worries, that pirate is sleeping warm and safe amongst the rest of the pirates. My tiny gnomes? Well, they ARE homeless now. Perhaps our next adventure will be to help them re-build…
