Whew! Just got done putting together a slideshow wrapping up what the year looked like for me personally. It was a year of old fashioned around the house (and town) family time with lots of snuggles, pugs and outdoor play mixed in. I’ve been dreaming of traveling to a beach vacation (so much that I can taste it!) and that didn’t happen this year, but seeing the happiness we had in our everyday life reminds me it’s ok to stay home some years too.
This was also the year that “Betsy & John Photography” turned into “Betsy King Photography”, so this slideshow isn’t filled with action shots of me working with clients taken by John any more. That’s a bummer, because it’s always fun to relive the moments I had while shooting. There is one action shot from a shoot John couldn’t keep himself away from though, so I was excited to include it.
You’ll see everything from good photography, to some bad or blurry photos in this slideshow, but they all help tell the story of my crazy little life. I figure if I get the photos right for my clients, I shouldn’t be afraid to show the “stinkers” (but still cute ones) I get from time to time when picking up the camera around the house. So here’s 2009, with a teeny tiny bit of Betsy King Photography thrown in here and there. Thanks for tuning in and allowing me to share my life with you guys! (There’s a smattering of familiar non-King faces in there. So keep your eyes open.)
The first thing you have to notice is how YOUNG Miles looks in the beginning of this slideshow. It totally blew my mind! He has grown up SOOOO much from turning 2 to almost 3 here in a few weeks.
If you watched the whole slideshow, I’ll be your best friend for life. (Bless you!)
Thank you so much to all of the wonderful people who stop by my little blog and comment. I love hearing from you and have been lifted up through all the little ups and downs I’ve gone through this past year by your sweet comments. Hopefully you’ll stick around with me this year to see 2010′s year in review next January. With a new baby coming, Miles being a grown-up 3 year old and our new studio opening, I can only dream what it all will look like.
