John’s “baby brother” came to visit us a couple weeks ago and we had SO much fun with him. We did all sorts of fun things like going to Takaoka to see our dinner being cooked in front of us, the studio to play with photos, Coney Island, Miles’ Saturday morning clay class, sky lanterns, playing with toys and of course sitting around the table enjoying food and conversation. Oh and coffee. We made lots and lots of coffee as a weekend with two kiddos wears you out!
Here’s a super fast paced slideshow of our antics in the studio complete with a pillow fight set to Miles’ favorite dance party song. It has some cute behind the scenes shots too. (You’ll notice the paper is always wrinkled when Miles is around because he just goes nuts at the studio. I really only worry about perfect backdrops for clients. For me? I’m just lucky to get him in front of my camera.)

We were amazed that John’s young and hip bachelor brother would want to hang out and do just regular family of four stuff with us. I mean, these days our life is wayyyyy more work than play, especially when it comes time to put two kids to bed. He jumped right in though, even feeding and playing with the baby.
Hey there’s John in his new glasses looking on.
The pugs are always very interested in meal time.
Story time was a hit with even the pugs and their nasty breath joining in.

Thank you so much for coming Mark! We were in a total deep winter slump and really had a great time taking a mini vacation from regular life to hang out and play with you. Can’t wait to see you again in April!
I see a little bit of John Krasinski in his face also. 🙂
Oh my goodness, so many things to say about this post.
First off, Mark’s hoodie? LOVE IT (seriously, where did he get it?)
Second, I love all of these!! I gotta tell, you there is a piece of Miles that so reminds me of me at that age. Like, forget the little kids, all I wanted to do is hang out with my older siblings’ friends b/c I IDOLIZED them and you can just see that in Miles’ eyes when he’s in that slideshow with Mark.
SO fun!
Those are great!,is that a canvas of Miles hand? That is soo cute! Can’t view the show on my phone, but aol check soon. Looks like kid brother is ready to settle down lol 🙂
always thought Miles got his looks from Grandpa Smith, but sure can see resemblance to Uncle Mark! both are cuties.
Nothing more attractive than a handsome man who loves kids (at least to me)! You are blessed and so are the kiddos – they obviously love him to pieces. 🙂
Super cute! You have got the most photogenic family!
Ok so WHERE did you get those cute little shoes for your little one? So adorable!
Those cute shoes were last year’s Timberland’s. I copied off some I saw like them in J Crew. : ) Just bought em off shoes.com or zappos.
Thanks for liking them!
Those shoes are just Timberland’s. I saw some like it at J Crew, but these were much cheaper. THanks!
[…] brother Mark (the resident Nick Lachey look-a-like) who who visited us this past winter, is great with the kids as well. I think Jocelyn looks a bit like Mark here, […]
