a thanksgiving worthy of kings

Over the week of Thanksgiving this year, we were blessed to see all three of our families; My parents, The Zabels (my late husband’s precious family) and we traveled to see John’s parents down in Greenwood, South Carolina. We had a great time visiting John’s parents and they were wonderful hosts as we ate, ate, played and ate again. The road trip was a bit hairy with a two year old who decided to be potty trained the day we left (lots of stops!) but we made it and the kids were awesome. (They are much better travelers than I am!)

The kids were so excited to see their Grammy & Grampy and they were equally so thrilled. It was a precious week of catching up as we hadn’t seen them since our trip to Myrtle Beach with them. Here’s a peek into our Thanksgiving down south. Much thanks to Tom & Donna for hosting!

Note: We stopped at Asheville, NC for a break on the way and it is such a GREAT place to visit! It’s such a great city with a fun vibe. One store had SEVEN dogs with their owners. It was a dog lover’s dream!
