miles creates his own (imaginary) solar powered cars

He was pretty patient. He let those cars get their fill of lamplight for quite awhile before it was time to return them to the floor for more zooming and racing around. (Some people were confused when I first posted this. These are just regular cars, and Miles was just pretending to power them up with the light. At least, that’s what it appeared was happening, you never know what’s going on in that little brain of his.)

Did you guys know that I’m hosting Thanksgiving this year? Yep, tomorrow I am going to try to do as much cooking and baking that I can in the morning so I can clean and set up in the afternoon. (I’m doing a noon Thanksgiving lunch, so it’s not like I’ll have tons of time on the actual day to prepare.) No matter how busy I am with editing or prepping for this family dinner, we can’t miss tomorrow’s Lighting Ceremony Event in downtown Fort Wayne. Check it out HERE, if you’ve never been. We are SOOOO excited. I only hope it doesn’t rain though.

Gotta run, LOTS to do this week! But I HAD to just pop on and throw a random Miles photo up before I go start on dinner. (I’m hoping to get my next senior up soon. My editing workflow is battling with the Thanksgiving workflow.)

    That is so funny!

We have a nephew who’s big into monster trucks. When one of his trucks “catches fire”, he asks for some tape to help put it out. If there’s no tape around, he simply presses his face up against it and uses his eyes to extinguish the flames.

    Kids are brilliant!
