what happens while I’m at the grocery store

Miles’ new BFF, our good friend Chris, loves to come over and play with Miles. He decided to get out his video camera because Miles loves to watch himself. Well, Miles went NUTS. One of Miles’ strong points is how well he can speak and pronounce words. Well, he has his own language in this video, but he did pronounce one word right on.

Yep, he said, “BOOM SAUCE.” As I previously mentioned, I follow Nate, from the Image is Found’s blog, and he makes up all sorts of words. John follows him too and can’t seem to help himself from using Nate’s language, thus, our child now says words that makes people go, “hmmmm.” (Yes, I just busted out a C+C music factory reference. I’m kind of embarrassed and impressed with myself all at once.)

In other news, I’m reallllllllly hoping this is the last day for this little item to be posted to my blog header.

Bio Signature

It’s been up so long it’s dust bunnies has dust bunnies. Can’t you just imagine that little photo of Miles doing a little “chinchilla shake” every now and then to shake the dust off his messy little head? (Cute visual, huh? Yep, I’m so weird!)

Seriously, I couldn’t even sleep last night I’m so excited about the upcoming changes. (Though honestly, these changes are getting WAY too hyped up from my slowness!) I loved being Betsy & John Photography, but it’s really going to be fun to design things and run my blog and business just in MY own style. Speaking of which, gotta get back to work!!

Speaking of dust bunnies, I have some MAJOR cleaning to do today. Gotta run!

Wow – that is just ridiculously adorable! I think I read recently on Nate’s blog that his readers were going to need to flex their “eye-ceps” – That is one funny dude.

We’re in the “invent-a-word/phrase” period, too. Unfortunately, he also repeats some things that I don’t want him to, but are hysterical. Case in point – I sliced up an apple a couple days ago for a snack and Murphy grabs the cinnamon shaker we let him sprinkle on his apples and says, “Hell yeah!”

Good luck with the transition, we can’t wait to see your new look!

Love it – love it! I not only loved his “boomsauce” but his “oooohhh – ooooh – oooohhhss”!!! What is it about this kid? I found myself grinning ear-to-ear as I watched this video of him;) Such personality and adorability (is that a word???). It is so cool to see a video of him talking and moving around…..and to think I thought photos of him are cute . . . I think he got even cuter;)
