goodbye summer

Since we had a pretty crazy hot summer and now it’s practically sweater weather, I feel like the door is slamming shut on summer. Time to say goodbye and reminisce a bit. The summer of 2010 is the summer I was pregnant with our mystery King Baby 2.0. It was the summer I dragged Miles…

Excellent retrospective, Betsy. Where did this year go!? Don’t forget to bookmark this blog post for 16 years in the future when Miles brings home a date, so she can read the Children’s Museum piece =)

Those were awesome, Betsy! My favorite is the one of Miles and John laying on the floor and Miles is kissing him;) Absolutely melted my heart! My vote for funniest pic goes to the one of Miles at the museum smelling like pooh and the poor lady who had to endure it!!! Too funny;) Thank you so much for my Jossy special announcement . . . I loved it!

Who in the world says you need to find non-elastic waisted jeans? 🙂 Love seeing the pics, thanks for sharing them with us!!

baby and pug gazing

Sunday morning was spent around the kitchen table enjoying some Cinnamon Crunch bagels from Panera (our FAVORITE!) and Jocelyn was in her bouncer on the floor. She was laying there looking so precious, I had to take some photos and share her sweetness. The pugs were so snuggly, I couldn’t resist snapping some of them…

Oh my goodness…Jocelyn looks SOOO different here! Who does she look like? Not baby Miles (I don’t think!) She’s changing so adorably by the minute. And WHERE did that onesie come from? I want to get it for Tracy and the baby!

  • CassieSeptember 8, 2010 - 10:17 am

I agree with Gail, she looks so different here! And I am LOVING how much you’ve been blogging.

I have been reading your blog for awhile now and I just love your little family! I am 8 mths pregnant with a little girl myself, and am LOVING that onesie/sleeper. Where did you get it? I HAVE to have it!!! 🙂 Congrats on your beautiful family!

So, I’m just a tad bit late, but congrats on the new addition! I’m slowly starting to catch back up after the craziness of the wedding so I’m just now getting a chance to check in on you. As always, love the photos!

    she is so perfect!

saturday stuff

It’s a BEAUTIFUL day outside, and I should be frolicking in a field or something. However, I’m inside, sitting at my computer. This is ok though because I’m holding my sweet baby girl. I’m multitasking. You see, the only way she will sleep today is if I hold her and she’s so snuggly and the…

I don’t have a baby but can I still comment on the fact that she is a cutie-pie? Or, should that be a cutie-muffin? Happy Dances for the Kings =)

    your “not expecting” anymore 🙂

feeling itchy for fall and some more focus

Today had to be my most ADD day ever. It started out with just plain old tiredness and continued into me being completely aimless. My biggest problem right now is I’m not sure how long Jocelyn will nap, so I have these spurts of time throughout my day that I’m not sure what I can… Related Posts Plugin for WordPress, Blogger...

  • CassieSeptember 3, 2010 - 8:07 am

Those shrimp tails are pretty sick! But Paul & I use to put corn kernels over our teeth to gross my mom out, so I guess that’s just what kids do 🙂

  • annie pSeptember 3, 2010 - 8:35 am

They’re all hilarious, but the best one is the last one – I love how all expression is drained – like – uh – here mom. It is so true – such fun.

  • Kristin G.September 3, 2010 - 9:17 am

This was a great post, Bets. It’s all going to slowly but surely get back to normalcy and one day you won’t remember life being any different. The last picture is hilarious!
