When I posted Amy & Jonathan’s engagement photos I kept getting the same comment, “Can’t wait to see more!” Well goodness, the pressure was on to deliver! That’s no joke, I mean, I felt some serious pressure to do an awesome job for this shoot. Of course I always feel pressure, but Amy and I have been friends for over 15 years. She has literally stood next to me through my biggest ups and downs in my life, at times sacrificing her own needs for mine. When she couldn’t be there, like when Miles was born, she sent her parents, which really is the next best thing. 🙂 So I wanted to really do a great job for this dear, dear friend and show her how happy I am for this new beginning in her life. I’m hoping this little view of Amy & Jonathan, through my eyes, shows that.

My girl Bobbi inspired this shot. Amy and Jonathan have been in crazy wedding mode non-stop so when I asked if they would lay down for some photos, they were more than happy to oblige. Being out in nature, with no one else around, the stress just melted away.

Happiness is so beautiful.

I can totally see the movement of their embrace in this photo. I just love how much they smile when they are together and how easy the laughs come.

Speaking of smiles, Amy, your Jon is like my John. He has an awesomely big smile! (Trust me, that is a GREAT thing to have around the house.)

Laughter, love and sun, you are a beautiful thing. Though I think I’m going a little overboard with the sunflare this post. Sorry, but once I got these two in full sun they just really got warmed up, if you know what I mean. 😉 Watch out Disney Cruise, here come Amy & Jon!!!

Being selfish, I’m hoping that Amy and Jonathon’s next step in their journey won’t be too far from home, but where ever they go, I know they will be following their hearts and God will put them in the perfect place for their family to grow.
