another photo of a photo

First of all, I have to say that I have been stuck in a time warp lately where time is FLYING by. Not only is Miles growing exponentially every day (he now counts to 3, sometimes 4 and says A-B-C!) but I start working and it’s like only 3 minutes have gone by after 3 hours. Ack! Emails are piling up and I’m trying very hard to keep up with them and of course there are always photos that needed edited. So please be patient if you are on the receiving end of some email silence. Don’t take it personally, I’m chipping away at my to do list. I do have to say my house is the cleanest it’s been in ages (a miracle!) and I have gotten lots of time with my friends over the holiday weekend. Sooooo, that must be why things are piling up, which really is actually a good reason to be backed up. However, tomorrow is a nice long work day where I’m going to demand that the universe release my crazy time warp so I can unleash some crazzzzy editing fury. (There is a cute boy named Logan out there who needs his photos!!)

Moving on from my time warp, here is a little something that a birdie from Matilda Jane Clothing left on my doorstep early this morning. It’s their fall “Sack Lunch” Look Book with my photos in print! (This is a first! My last Matilda Jane shoot was just a web release. Which was pretty cool too.) The Look Book is a compilation of a few photographers across the country so I’ll show you the pages my work is shown.

This was a total surprise…..the front and back cover!!

That jacket she is wearing here is from her boy’s line, The Mighty Acorns. Miles has it in a size 2. I can’t wait for it to fit him!!

My work is on the right page, I’m pretty sure that’s Michelle’s’ work is on the left. She is amazzzzzing.

The t shirt is another piece from the boy’s line that Miles has in size 2. So keep your eyes peeled for him to rock that t as soon as he can.

Sara, who was on the shoot with us, was a much loved part of Matilda Jane and headed back to Purdue the next day after the shoot, so they included this photo I took just for fun. The poor models, who were sooo sweet were totally having LBSFO’s (low blood sugar freak outs) during this photo. Bless them for hanging in there for one more!! I’m sending a shout out to their mom, Amitha, who is one cool chick. We have become email buddies after spending the day together at our shoot. Hi sweetie!!

Ok, I feel like I have talked about this shoot about 8 million times, but how could I not share my first printing debut!! Thanks again MJC!

Coming up, Logan’s family, some lake fun for the 3 kings and photos of the new albums I’m carrying.
