Ok, I just wrote this huge blog post about my day of shooting with Bobbi+ Mike, but honestly, their blog post really wraps it up PERFECTLY, so please, just head over there and check out their take on Cassie’s wedding day and for some action shots of all of us shooting together.

Because I can’t stand posting without adding some photos, here’s some action shots of our own:

Here’s Bobbi showing Cassie some LOVE during the bridal shots. Can’t you just hear her scream, “Are you kidding me!!!???” We were FLIPPING out at how beautiful little miss Cassie was.

Here’s a shot of Mikey, the sweetest most patient guy since….John! Bobbi and I both lucked out big time with the sweetest guys to balance out our hyper nuttiness. (Yes, Bobbi, I’m calling you nutty! Just like me.)

Speaking of husbands….Here’s John in action. I tell you what, after being away from John all day and then seeing him for the first time in the barn, just as Cassie saw Jason for the first time that day, it’s HOT! I couldn’t help but snap a shot of him. Woo hoo John! You are such a cutie!!

Ok, Bobbi posted this one on her blog, but I fear some people won’t click on the link (Dude, you are so missing out if you don’t check out Bobbi + Mike’s blog) I thought I would add my favorite action shot of the day taken by Mike. Bobbi wasn’t up there to have a “Shoot off” with me, she was showing me that it was ok to get up there closer. They were such awesome teachers.

Learning from Bobbi + Mike has been one of the very special blessings that has paved this road to my work as a photographer. She has encouraged me from my early days (not so long ago!) when I was rockin my Rebel and never imagined I could take photos for anybody but for myself. She saw my talent wayyy before I ever recognized it myself. (And continues to remind me of it.) I have asked Mike countless techical questions and no matter how busy they are I would get the nicest page long email complete with links on where to buy what I needed. Thank you again Bobbi + Mike! Words cannot express how much we truly appreciate your generosity with your time, talent and all that gear! (Oh my goodness, I think back to all the gear we were tossing around that night. Oy!) You are THE BEST!!

Thank you also to Cassie and Jason. They believed in us (if anyone remembers where we were in December when they asked us, you know we have come a long way since then) and they, along with their family and friends have treated us and our work with such an immense amount of respect. You’ll read on Bobbi’s blog a bit about how Cassie’s dad feels about our photography, which was amazing in it’s self.

PS I’m sending a big thank you to Lindsay and Zac as well. I met Bobbi at their wedding and thus started a chain of events that led to my friendship with Bobbi. Also, her husband Zac is now serving in Iraq, so another HUGE thank you goes out to him.
