So, while Jason and his groomsmen were playing baseball, Cassie was enjoying a day of her own with her girls. This is a MONSTER huge blog post and I still didn’t get all the bridesmaids in this post. Don’t worry ladies, you’ll get on here!!! So here’s the story of Cassie’s wedding day, from 9:30 AM until 3PM. More to come soon!

Cassie’s dad LOVES making breakfast for Cassie and her brother and on her wedding day, her father made a special breakfast for them to share with her bridal party. How cute is her brother Paul joining the ladies? I sooooo hope I can have a little girl someday and my kid’s relationship can be as special as Cassie and Paul’s.

There were some embarrassing stories being told….

and plenty of laughter to go around.

Cassie had the most unique gifts for her bridal party. Look at this little treasure chest of coolness she gave Amy. (That blue little zippered case held a Starbucks card. That’s so Cassie!)

Oooohing and ahhhhing over Cassie’s dress. Look at Cassie beaming!

Then it was time for Cassie to shower and the bridesmaids headed to the reception venue to help set some things up. Cassie’s brother was sweet enough to come along, but once things got to the point of decorating and not so much heavy lifting, he found himself a piano in a back room and started to play.

Then it was time to primp!! Cassie did her own hair and it was PERFECTO!

Jen, I LOVE your cheakbones and Cassie, I LOVE your hair and your ability to do your hair.

and the laughter continued…can anybody see what Cassie is laughing at? 😉 I’ll just say, those weren’t for her, so I feel ok blogging this photo.

There was a quiet moment during the day where Cassie was on the phone with her mom and Cassie didn’t realize it, but her mom had snuck in the room.

So her mom was standing there right behind her and the really funny part is when her mom says, “I don’t think I’ll be able to come today….Yea, I don’t think I’ll be able to come tonight either…” I’m sitting there snapping away trying not to bust out laughing until Cassie’s mom finally told her she was there. Hilarious!

So then it was on to MAC to get some pretty serious make up on. (It was done by Heather at MAC. She did an AMAZING job.) BTW, Cassie, can you pleeease comment what color your lip gloss was? I sooo need to go buy some! (John, you did not hear me say that.)

Here’s Cassie’s mom, Kelly, looking on. I have really enjoyed getting to know Kelly over the last six months working on the wedding together and doing her son’s senior photos. We love you Kelly!!

While we were putting on make up, I asked Cassie, “Where is Jason’s ring?” Her maid of honor, Brittany popped out Jason’s ring and of course it was in a cute little purse.

Ok, I HAVE to cut myself off and end this blog for now. Stepping into the dress is next!!!!
