baby shopping find

Does anybody remember this adorable gown I had Jocelyn in when she was teeny tiny?

It was our FAVORITE baby item. The fabric was so unique and soft that I’m going to cut it up and put it into a quilt for Jocelyn mixed up with other meaningful scraps from her baby days. It was given to us by a great aunt who lives many states away, so I never knew much about the designer that made it.

Well, the gown (along with a hat that wasn’t included in our set, but would have been worn to death!) is on Zulily today, a “flash sale” site for half off! I actually recall searching for more of this pattern when Joss was a baby and not really finding much. So after finding it today, I had to pass it on. This would TOTALLY be the perfect baby gift.

Click here for gown. You have to sign in because it’s one of those sale sites that has new sales everyday.

I don’t usually blog about stuff like this, but I just had to share. There’s stuff for older girls on Zulily too. Stuff sells out pretty quickly though, so you have to act fast.

Oh and incase you haven’t noticed, even though in past blogs I have mentioned being clueless about shopping for a girl, I’m getting the hang of it. wink

Hi Betsy! I am SO delighted that you enjoyed this gown… I am Christy’s daughter (Pauline “Mary’s” granddaugter). I was with Grandmother and helped her pick out this gown for Jocelyn… we got it in Duncan, OK at a store called Dear Friends! My mom, Christy, and I keep up with your blog and love getting to see pictures of your kiddos… they are so precious! We also enjoy getting to see your parents and hear how they are doing! Next time I visit Grandmother, I’ll show her this picture..she would love to see Jocelyn wearing the gift she gave her! I hope this comment isn’t too creepy! Just wanted to let you know that we’re thinking of you guys all the way in Texas and Oklahoma!
