cassie & jason: super sneak peak

24 hours ago John and I were in the middle of shooting Cassie & Jason’s wedding reception. Wow, what a whirlwind! All those months of planning and waiting and that day has come and past and I’m left exhausted and still just taking it all in. Cassie was the most beautiful bride that took your breath away. She is just as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. Her husband (yes, Cassie, your HUSBAND!) Jason is the sweetest and sensitive man, who I found out at Cassie’s shower is a beautiful writer. He wrote Cassie a love letter to be delivered to her shower that had all of us ladies in tears. They are such a beautiful couple.

So I have thousands of photos to go through from me, John and Bobbi + Mike. (My awesome friends Bobbi + Mike, who are amazzzing photographers in Indy, came to hold our hands as we took on our first wedding. We are blessed beyond words and learned volumes from them that day.) Though I have many, many photos to sort through and process, how could I leave the sweetest bride & groom, their families and their awesome friends hanging without at least a tiny sneak peak at their day.

Now, I have to add, I could write volumes about how much I loved this wedding, how emotional I was and how beautiful, precious and so much fun everyone in her life is. However, I just took a Benadryl to force myself to get some sleep tonight (I was too wired from the wedding to sleep last night!) because if I don’t force myself to go to bed, I would be up all night processing. (Trust me, I need some beauty rest!) I will get to them soon enough, but I need to rest my body for now. I had NO idea how physically demanding it is shooting a wedding. Wow. You’ll see pictures of me shooting this wedding and you’ll see that I did not have the “bridal bubble” Cassie had that repelled sweat and hair frizz.

So you take Cassie, the most stunning bride you’ve ever seen…

add in a whole wedding day (this is where your imagination helps me out here to fill in the blanks) and you get this!

and they lived happily ever after. 🙂

Sorry to be such a tease. You know me, I’ll post more photos soon. Until then, Cassie & Jason, we love you so much and thank you so much for choosing us to capture your day. We wish you all the happiness and blessings you two could ever wish for. Your love will be an inspiration to so many, I just know it.
