I stopped by Cassie’s cupcake making party today and she mentioned that she had put her photo in the paper for her wedding announcement. I was so bummed that I missed it. It’s my favorite section of the paper and it was my first engagement photo published! Then of course I was wildly curious about which photo she chose.

When I met her grandmother at the party today I wasn’t quite sure, but I think she said, “Betsy, you take the most unusual photos!” Ha ha! She went on to say she really liked them, so thank goodness it wasn’t unusual in a bad way.
Oh and speaking of the cupcake party, I stopped by today in the hopes of snapping some photos of the decorating process. I was too late for the decorating action, but grabbed a quickie shot of Cassie with her maid of honor posing with a final product.

I absolutely love that announcement, how cool is that. By the way, when are you going to post the blog about how you got started in photography? I’m and aspiring photographer and have been following the blog for awhile and would love to know.

Just wanted to say good luck tomorrow (I think that’s Cassie’s W-day!) I’m sure you will do great. My wedding pics meant so much more to me because someone I loved took them. Can’t wait to see how you captured that fantastic couple.
