I just had to hop on and say a few words in memory of Miles’ morning nap time. What was once my time to shower, have some tea, hop on facebook, do some work, clean the kitchen or eat my own breakfast, has now been replaced by Miles powering through his nap time and charging on. He’s a sweet punkin and I love him to death, but I will also miss my “me” time and will now have to figure out how I will get up early enough to do my hair or put my contacts in. So if you see me around with my hair a mess and my glasses on, just know, I’m still transitioning to life without a morning nap.

Miles also reminded me that this week brings on the end of an another era with our new president. Miles blew us away tonight when we pointed to an American flag and said, “Obama. President.” Um, wow. I guess he’s been listening. (Considering I voted for Ronald Reagan during my kindergarten election because I was pro Ronald McDonald means I think Miles already has a stronger grasp on politics than I did at his age.)

I’m a little embarrassed to be posting so many photos of Miles lately, but I’m in self imposed photography hibernation right now before my spring season begins, so I’m stocking up on photos of my little guy. Plus, he’s turning two on Groundhog day, so some of this need to count as his 2 year old photos. (Though I really don’t adhere to a certain age to get photos taken.)

Miles totally made this little pose up on his own. Doesn’t he look like an old soul here? (Yep, the hat was his idea.) I have lots more from this little shoot, but I’ll have to share more of those later.

Enough of my babbeling, I’m off to bed and it’s before 10:30. It’s a miracle!
