I was impressed with Erin since day one. She contacted me herself early last spring after seeing a friend’s senior photos with us and I was impressed that she wanted to book me so far in advance and chose us. I really feel that choosing your photographer is just about as personal as finding the right pair of jeans. Depending on who you choose, you can look and feel great and that they are just SO YOU! (That’s how I want everybody who books us to feel!) So I’m always honored when a senior chooses us, especially when there are so many great photographers out there.
For Erin’s shoot, we got to go to her old neighborhood she grew up in, which is in this beautiful historic part of town. It’s actually a street that is part of our Christmas tradition as it’s always lined with paper lanterns and just beautiful to drive through. I was SUPER excited when Erin told me she wanted to shoot there. Not only does it give us a something totally new, I just love the tree lined streets of old neighborhoods.
Erin was such a sweetie to work with. She was up for anything and so laid back. She’s got some super exciting possibilities in the mix for her college plans and I can’t wait to hear what she chooses. We also got to meet her boyfriend who is such a nice guy and it was great to see how sweet they were together.
Oh, and I always have to post some for the non-slideshow watchers.
Erin, you were awesome to work with (Not to mention drop dead beautiful!) Thank you so much for choosing us to capture this time in your life. Keep us posted on the big college choice news, ok?
I saw your photos on Cassie Beers myspace, and then again on Paul Painos. You are so amazing. And then looking at this girls, you are really talented with photography. I’m so interested in photography, and might consider it as a future career. I would love to talk to you sometime about engagement photos for my fiance and I. Once again beautiful picture!
God Bless, Amber
Great work on these Betsy!
These are so awesome! I love the locations!
Too cute! The slideshow is so worth it! Some really beautiful shots with her boyfriend too…almost like an engagement shoot (eek, I feel wrong saying that; but must admit too that I was married at 19, hehe).
Anyway, beautiful as always! Love the juxtaposition of the warped chainlink and the beautiful trees in the same shot(s). =)
