My mom’s birthday was on St. Patrick’s day so we celebrated with a big lunch at Munchie’s’ and then everybody walked down to the studio to hear John’s latest music and get some fun pics of my mom and Miles for her birthday.

Well, Miles really only wanted to sit and listen to daddy’s music and play with his keyboard, so I had about 2 seconds to grab some photos of him and mom. My mom had brought these great St. Patty’s day headbands that Miles LOVED, so we had to get some photos of those.

Miles is nuts over my mom. He lights up like a Christmas tree when she walks through the door. The light isn’t perfect here, but eh, it’s my mom snuggling with Miles. I love it. 🙂

Barb, Andy’s mom, had joined us for lunch and I tore her away from John’s music just long enough to grab a photo with mom. These two have been friends since before I was born. (Someday I’ll tell more of that story and more about Andy, so stay tuned.) Yep, I still call her my mother in law (always will) and she is a third grandma to Miles, though Miles calls her Barb. Which really is a good thing, because how confusing would three Grandma’s be? How cute are these two?

So Miles had sat through a long and very grown up lunch at a bar and was on the verge of nap time so he was ready to go. Of course that means I wanted to try to get a couple more shots of him in. My fabulous friend, Gail sent Miles this adorable hat for his birthday and she said the only thank you she wanted was some photos of Miles in it.

So a big Happy Birthday goes out to my mom who is actually in Philly this weekend celebrating her birthday girls getaway style with some of her friends from highschool. Hope you are having a fabulous time mom! We love you!
