I met Lucy about four years ago (or was it five?) when I photographed her adorable family for a photo session. I immediately fell in love with their whole family and I now feel so blessed to have her as my assistant this year. She’s just so open, laid back, sweet and loving. It’s been such a blessing to have her by my side this season.

Lucy is the spitting image of her mom, who is a Betsy as well. (I get excited when I meet another Betsy. It’s kind of rare.) I ADORE her mom so much, you won’t meet a more down to earth or friendly woman than her mom. It’s been really fun to see Betsy in Lucy’s photos. Actually, Betsy I need to photograph the two of you together. It would be so striking to see the similarities between you two! (Let’s make that happen Lucy!)

Lucy’s five favorite things: yoga, her record player, hot tea, love, cameras and last but not least, naps.

Lucy’s friends call her “the bonus nugget” since she’s so tiny and she’s that little extra chicken nugget you get and are so excited about. How adorable is that? I agree Lucy! Though I might call you my bonus Twizzler, since there’s nothing like thinking the bag is empty and find there’s ONE more left! 😉

Lucy, you are just so beautiful. Your giving, warm, creative and loving spirit shines through in all you do! I’m so excited to see all the wonderful things you achieve!

Lucy told me that her dream is to keep sight of who she is through all of her future endeavors no matter what they will be and to love what she does and who she is surrounded by. I wish that for you too Lucy and I’m sure it will happen!
