As you know, we LOVE our pugs. We figured any child of ours that came along would be just as crazy over them. As much as the pugs have been completely loving, protective and sweet to Miles, the feeling has not always been mutual.

Miles has seemed pretty annoyed by the pugs. Like a sibling kind of annoyance. I’ve actually heard the words, “MOM! Stamp is touching me!” come out of Miles’ mouth.

John and I would look at each other in horror and wonder how in the world a child of ours could not come out just totally in love with dogs? Especially the pugs? It bummed us out, but we figured the pugs would eventually charm Miles and he would come around.

Well, FINALLY, Miles has seen the light and perhaps he has realized they are here to stay, but he is starting to feel the love. Just last week he expressed an interest in walking them.

It’s a bit tricky at first, he found out.

But then he had a BLAST and so did Stamp!

John walks these dogs all the time all by himself, and so do I from time to time, so it will be great once he gets the hang of it to safely have a walking buddy. Yippee for Miles becoming a dog lover! Woo hoo! We knew this day would finally come!

PS Should I take up a collection to get poor John a new pair of jeans? 😉
