more proof of my distraction as of late

I swear I”m working on my info for this upcoming season. I have a list of the sweetest most patient people waiting for me to release my 2009 pricing and crack open my books to start getting people on my calendar. I’m still working on it though.

And what do creative people do when they have things they need to get something important done?

They totally procrastinate and work on completely frivolous projects until they no longer can put it off.

The non-creative people reading this are now “tsk tsking” me with disgust while my creative friends are nodding in agreement as they alphabetize their spice racks and organize their stationary drawers. (I say this because John and I both have deadlines and have been TERRIBLY distracted with non-important duties. It’s driving us CRAZY!!!!) If you have no idea what I’m talking about, you are one of the non-creative types. Trust me on this. Oh, I suppose if you don’t know what I’m talking about and you are a creative person, than I guess you are just perfect. Sigh….

Annnnnnyway, so today I have been loading videos onto DVD for our family and for our own archival. I SUCK because I should be working on work stuff, but our family will think we are great and Miles will thank us when he’s older to have cute videos of himself. (Hopefully.)

So here are a couple more videos I created during this time of great distraction and screwing around. Don’t worry, I’ll get the new 2009 pricing done soon. Trust me, I’m CHOMPING at the bit to start shooting clients again!

Here’s Miles showing off a bit. He LOVES an audience.

This video was taken on Friday night when instead of cleaning our TRASHED kitchen after dinner, we decided to make home made play-doh. Well, it was a lot of fun and a total mess, but the real mess (and DANGER) happened when we let Miles help clean up. If you are wondering why Miles wasn’t wearing pants, it’s because we took his sweatsuit off so he wouldn’t get play doh on it. But the ONE time he runs around the kitchen half naked and barefoot and then THAT happens.

Ok, I’m off to actually do some productive work. I can only screw around for so long before I realize I need to focus and get serious.

Oh my gosh, these are adorable! Miles is a genius! My hubbie and I were cracking up during the second one because Miles runs just like Johnny does and then when you stood there and moo’d while John went running it was totally what I would have done too! Hahahaa

You are so refreshing and real. Thank you for sharing honesty and making me feel not so bad about exactly the same stuff – procrastinating and messing around – like looking at your blog when I should be updating my website. Cheers to 2009!

HAAA!!! I hear ya on the procrastination part. You have some guts putting that on here. More than me. 🙂 But soo soo soo true.

Your second video just cracked me up. Glad no one got hurt. We have had many similar situations …but your moooing was oh so unique and it made me laugh! You guys are so adorable.

Wow, I’m not alone! Sometimes I feel like a total failure for NEVER being caught up on everything! It’s hard being your own boss sometimes.

Oh yikes! I am LOL at your ::ahem:: ‘moo’ though! I’m guessing it was supposed to be one of those slow motion “Noooooooooooo” kind of things?

Oh my gosh – that is too funny. Miles is such a ham! I can’t wait until Jackson gets a little older. You guys have so much fun!
