I’m kind of figuring out how to use it, though I think I have to sew another button on it to make it work and stay on my neck. The cold weather is motivating me to find a way to make it work.
In other news, I’m in the middle of learning a new photo management software, which is one of the many changes I’m undergoing before I open up for 2009. I have been wanting to do it all year, but never had a break in client work to handle the learning curve. So hang tight and know I’m no longer in distraction mode. I’m late enough in the game that I’m on “HOLY COW I NEED TO GET THIS DONE” mode. Consider my business right now to be the equivalent of a store front that has all of it’s mannequins naked with a bunch of cardboard boxes laying around with stuff yet to go on them. Stuff is coming, and it’s going to be goooooood. It’s just in the ugly assembly stages. Though that does mean lots of Miles photos and other random tid bits about our life popping up on the blog. (The grandparents are thrilled, I’m sure. )
For tonight, I’m actually going to go to bed and let all the new stuff I learned tonight settle in. Last night John and I met for so long and so late at night (or the morning) about my new pricing that he was actually talking to me about pricing in his SLEEP! Then I started dreaming about numbers and things got really trippy. It’s a miracle I made it to my 7:30 AM yoga class. Having meetings in your sleep is just one of the many interesting things about working from home and with your hubby.
Nighty night! May I dream of only puppies and kittens all night long!!!
That’s just too much of a coincidence! I did dream of puppies last night! Only my one puppy multiplied into two and chewed his way threw his kennel and dug holes in to my hardwood floors, really more like a nightmare. too funny. What is your new photo management software?
I’m in the exact same place right now. My husband and I spent last night talking about new accounting plans & I thought my head was going to implode trying to take it all in. I have tons of new plans for this year that I’m so excited about, but it’s stressful all the same. I’m just like you with the procrastination thing. Glad to know it’s because I’m creative 🙂 I’d love to know what photo management software you’re using as well. Good luck with everything!
