So I’m a mom and even though I’m a photographer and all of my posted work is supposed to be a reflection of that, I’m still allowed to post crappy photos of my cute kid doing cute things, right?

Well, shoot. Just allow me this one, or actually these two. (Future clients, just ignore these.) They are up against my ugly builder’s flat paint on my living room wall, but it shows what Miles is up to right now and that’s playing with balls and the pugs.

No, he’s not throwing a fit, he just thinks it’s funny to fall face first in the pug’s dog bed. You can’t tell but he’s laughing hysterically here. Piper down!
Ok, Big subject change:
So I was shopping at Target tonight and I always have to browse the baby stuff just to see what’s new. Well TONS is new and good gracious I missed out! They decide a year after Miles was born to come out with DwellStuido Baby stuff for Target. LOVE the simple colors and I LOVE kimono pajamas. The only kimono item we had for Miles was a white longsleeve kimono top we lifted from the hospital. (We were probably charged $849.86 for it.) So I got a little baby crazy tonight. Here’s a sampling of some of the colors & stuff that made me smile. Target, I love you. (Though I hate how you bring out the consumer in me!)
Oh, and if none of you knew this yet, Target sells one of my favorite baby things things now: Baby legs! These are styles I have my eye on. Trust me on the giraffe ones, they are cute on.
Ok, I think I’m done babbling. Thanks for hanging in there with me and my random blog. I had caffeine tonight so I’m a bit wired. I can’t believe I’m posting three blogs tonight. You guys are going to think I’m a loser with no life. I figured instead of one big long rambling one I would break it up a bit. I’m always thinking about your comfort not to mention your short attention spans. : ) I’m so thoughtful, aren’t I?
Bets, Lovin’ this blog entry. Not only for Miles and his dramatic faceplant, but for the fun stuff you found at Target! Who doesn’t bow down to that store??? Now that Miles is a year-old, maybe you guys need to think about another for all this fun stuff? No? Then you’ll just have to live vicariously thru pregnant friends then 😉
Miles get the drama from his mama. (Just like his whisper “WOW!”) Love the Baby Legs at Target- I saw them RIGHT after I bought womens knee-socks on sale to make my own. (Which, of course, are still sitting in my own sock drawer waiting to be made.) And Holli got that adorable brown,yellow,red dot Dwell bedding for her nursery- it’s so stinkin’ cute!!!
I just saw Target was carrying the Dwell line! And we have the green polka dot baby legs…total cuteness. Too bad there’s no Target in my area.
AND Target is selling Hotslings!! I was so shocked I talked out loud to myself right there in the baby aisle! I’m excited to see BabyLegs so easily accessible but at the same time I’m sad that everybody and their mama will have them now. Selfish, I know. :S
Hey, wait a minute…the only thing I post are “crappy photos of my cute kid doing cute things”….I swear everyone I know has something intelligent or thought provoking to share on their blog. isn’t that how it always goes…after your babe is over that stage, here comes Target..etc. with the products so much cheaper and with no s&h charges! I do love me some target tho…I so try to not use a basket so I “won’t get much” and then my fingers have red marks on them from all the stuff I am crazily holding at the checkout line lol! oh well here’s to the consumer in me too =)
