sign of spring

While on our trip to see John’s family last week, I caught this little sign of spring/interaction between John’s parents and Miles. It wasn’t much more spring-like down in Arkansas than here in Indiana, but they did have these teeny tiny flowers on the ground.

So I know it’s hard to see, but if you look closely, the flower is in focus. I wasn’t even taking a photo of these guys but I looked over, saw what they were doing and went for it. I’m glad I caught it because it was a sweet moment between Miles and his grammy and grampy King. More family moments from last week will be showcased soon. For now, that’s the only one I have processed.

Another sign of spring is April Fools Day (though I haven’t seen any pranks yet) AKA, My birthday! I’m 33 now which makes me the same age my mom was when she had me. Crazy huh?

So here’s a little blast from the past of yours truly.

Baby Photo

I’ve had a great birthday so far. I took my navigational system out for a drive with Miles, picked up a little “birthday chai” and did some scoping out of some locations for my senior photo shoot tomorrow. I actually had a great time driving around town and considering the gas prices, it was a luxury. I found some GREAT spots for tomorrow’s shoot and I’m SO excited! Now please let this horrendous weather go away and bring on the partly cloudy day weather.com has promised!

Gotta run, John has a birthday surprise (including a babysitter) coming soon!

Happy birthday!! I hope you’ll have a great evening!

What a cute moment between Miles and his grandparents! Isn’t it just great to be able to capture little moments like that – moments that our parents couldn’t capture since film was expensive. Digital photography is really wonderful in capturing the little day-to-day moments.

I missed your birthday! I’m so sorry. Happy Birthday! (It’s still 4/2 here, so I’m only a day late…technically!)

Coincidentally…you and my nephew, Foster, share a birthday. He turned a teeny tiny ginormous two years old with you.

Hope you had a wonderful day and what adorable pictures – I love every sign of spring the world has to offer! 🙂
