This weekend was so amazingly beautiful that I tried to get outside as much as I could. I have to admit that it hasn’t really sunk in yet that it’s actually October because it’s been so warm. Before I know it Halloween will have passed me by so I better get my head wrapped around it. So until I get fall on the brain, here’s me and my kiddos, looking very summerish. (Oh and I was happy that we got some summer temps so I could get a couple days wear out of summer outfits given to Jocelyn in larger sizes. Yippee!)

Jocelyn had a handfull of my hair here and was PULLING as hard as she could. I was saying, “OUCHY, OUCHY, OUCHY!” and I think Miles thought that was hilarious.

In other news, I went to a movie all by myself for the first time ever Saturday night. (I’m embarrassed that it took 35 years for me to finally do that.) Jocelyn has a regular bedtime now of around 9 PM, and for the most part, she’s sleeping through the night. So that means that I can catch 10 PM movies! Who needs a sitter when I can just pop out by myself! So I did. I finally saw The Social Network and made myself sick with my very own feedbag of popcorn. It was pretty nice going to a movie all by myself. I’m sure John and I will eventually get a date night to ourselves, but until then, I have found a way to get all the awesome fall flicks in. Yesssss!

There are lots more photos from the weekend and as usual, more on my mind, but thought I would pop these up since I’m too impatient to wait until they are all done for one big blog post.
