I FINALLY got our video camera connected to my Mac tonight and started going through some footage. I’m hoping to share some clips from the hospital when we first had Jossy, but man, I was SO HIGH off of pain killers after surgery that, well, we just might keep those clips just for us. We had a good laugh though.

Speaking of laughs, we always have a blast watching videos of Miles. The latest big thing in our life is that he is learning to read, which of course blows our minds. I have never been big on teaching kids to read super early. I wanted to make sure if he learned to read that he was still retaining comprehension and not just reciting meaningless words. I wanted to make sure he was doing everything in the right developmental order. Bla, bla, bla. Well, he wanted to learn to read and after learning the sounds that the letters made, he just started to put it together. He wants to read EVERYTHING and right now is really excited about it, as you’ll see.

Here’s a quick clip of Jocelyn and the pugs, who love her dearly. They love her so much that we have to push Whisper off of her about 6 times a day because she wants to snuggle RIGHT UP against her.
