Today was the last day of August and I was supposed to take my self portrait pic. Instead, I photographed my kids. Can anyone blame me?
Side note: I sent my 50 1.2 lens in for maintenance last week and popped on my old 50 1.4 to my Canon 5D. Wow, I had forgotten how sharp that lens is. The only sharpening I did to these photos was sharpen for web. No eye action or anything. It’s nice to switch things up. I’ll have to see what else I have forgotten from my camera bag. (i.e. my 85!)
This makes me cry.. We are so blessed with these lovely children. GOD is GOOD!
Aw, they are too adorable! My 50mm broke during a wedding last weekend ::sigh:: but it’s forced me to use my 35mm more this week and I love it! But I still miss my 50… time to send her in I suppose.
Oh those precious pumpkins! And I hear you on the 50–I think I should give my 1.4 a whirl just for comparison’s sake. So tired of the focusing issues with the 1.2! (what’s the problem with yours, BTW?)
After reading a zillion reviews, I ended up getting the 1.4 because I’d heard for the money it was a better lens. I’m happy with it, but since getting the 24-70, I hardly ever use it.
