I’m not so proud of this, but I entered Miles in one of those cute baby contest things at a local radio station. (I entered my late husband, Andy, years ago in a contest at this same station and he won Fort Wayne’s most romantic guy contest, so I’m kind of a contest junkie.) I’m not going for the cutest baby title as much as I’m really hoping for the Babies R Us gift card to get a new high chair to replace our janky one and a jogging stroller to help us get in shape. (Our cash goes towards photography gear, remember?)

Anyway, I totally forgot about this contest and didn’t even think his entry worked until I got an email from a friend this morning saying she voted for Miles. It’s kind of messed up as they don’t have Miles’ last initial listed (For this reason, I can’t imagine him actually winning….) and some people are getting weird errors when they vote, but some people are actually able to vote for Miles.

So, if you have an extra minute and wouldn’t mind trying this out, here’s the link: WMEE Website. You then click on the baby contest link to vote for Miles who is listed alllllll the way at the bottom. If it doesn’t work. Oh well. No biggie.

In the age portion of the voting, you just put your age. It just wants to make sure you are over 18. It’s not asking for Miles’ age. (John was confused at that.) Also, just include K for his last initial and it should work. (Again, that’s the part that is missing and making this contest weird.)

So we’ll see. They round up all the winners from the week and do an elimination via American Idol style on Friday. It’s all very lovely.

You can only vote for Miles today (Tuesday) if you want to. Tomorrow they will move on to another group of unsuspecting babies.
