As I look back at 2008, this is what I see: Laughter, tears, sleeping, not sleeping, learning, reading, going, going, going, snuggling, squeezing, kissing. Thinking I know it all and then realizing I know nothing at all. (Repeat that cycle about 5 times.) Thinking I can do anything and then facing and overcoming my own…
What a beautiful 2008! On to 2009 and all it has to offer! Love to you! Annie
Wow..Bets, this is just so perfect and so you.
So what it’s like to watch your son grow up in 4 minutes? Geez… I can’t BELIEVE how much older he looks from the start of the slideshow to the end. Can’t wait to see the AMAZING images in store for you in ’09! And I hope we can work together too!
If you are watching this video on a slower computer, it will take a few seconds to load some of the photos and then flip through like 5 photos at a time. So hang in there, the second time it goes through it works fine.
Thanks for watching!
Amazing!! I can’t wait to see what 2009 has in store for you! π
Just beautiful. Here’s to a healthy and happy 2009!
Geez, Betsy. This is wonderful. THANKS for doing all the work and making it so fun. 2008 really was an up-n-down year but you have captured your take on it beautifully. I particularly like the poster: Today I will be happier than a bird with a French Fry. π My new motto…. Thanks!
Absolutely amazing. No other word for it. π And you are super blessed with THE most adorable little man, big man and a fabulous house, my dear. Yay for ’09!
Beautiful slideshow! You are very blessed. I hope that 2009 brings you many more great things!
Loved the slide show…it was magical! I hope your life is just as lovely as the photos you take π And the cute song is going on my playlist!
Love this–what a beautiful collection of your 2008!
That slide show was amazing! What an amazing year and what an amazing keepsake for Miles to have in future years
what a great video! Miles has grown so “quickly”. I’ve been blog stalkin for so long now its funny to me to recognize things that were awhile ago. I think “oh, i remember that” as if i was actually there myself. haha Bring on 2009! It’s gonna be awesome!
WOW Bets – amazing work! I cannot believe how Miles has grown – time truly flies too quickly when they are little. You and John should have a zillion children, what amazing parents. Miles will have these wonderful pics and videos you do as he grows. What a treasure. Keep up the good work!
Love ya, Jackie

We love you with all we’ve got. This is absolutely incredible. We found ourselves gasping and laughing and watching it again! I (Amy) am so so so happy and blessed to be a part of your life.
Also, I covet that photo of your son in your cowboy boots. You know the one I’m talking about. Wedding present?
You are the most wonderful person we know. When I grow up, I want to be like Betsy King.
What a fab way to recap the year! My son is 15 months…time passes so fast…the slideshow is a great way to preserve the memories. Wait until Miles is old enough to watch it! Love it π
ps…what is the name of that great song?
Thanks for all the awesome comments!!!
I should have added the name of the song. Sorry! It’s Little Romance by Ingrid Michaelson
Thanks again for watching it. It’s not short!!!

I’m pretty sure that when I grow up, I want to be you.
this post just made me smile so much!
Betsy, I love the slide show! Great song for it too, who is the artist? Keep up the great work through 09.
Thanks for sharing your 2008! Miles is so cute and getting so big! We need to get together soon!
Miles is not only cute, smart and adorable, he is quite a little gentleman, with a darling sweet, tender, almost shy personality. You just want to squeeze him tight. Anyway that is what a very proud grandma thinks. John and Betsy really are great parents.
That is totally cool! I love it – so inspiring and funny and beautiful all rolled into one! Your work is fabulous.
