I can’t believe that is Miles…He looked so different yesterday. He seemed younger and smaller. He looks at lease 5 there.

This is so cool.. it’s nearly summer in New Zealand and I can’t wait until my kids can play in the back garden again. Playing with the hose and sprinkler is their favourite pastime, that and getting me all soaked of course ๐Ÿ™‚

big day for the three kings

Today we took Miles to his Pre-School Open House. As we walked up to the doors I told John that it feels just like yesterday we were going to birthing classes. I swear, you have a baby and somewhere someone hits the fast forward button on life. I always said I wouldnโ€™t take Miles to…

This is making me tweak out about my lil girl growing up. Will we be going through this soon? What is happening to our babies, they aren’t supposed to grow up. As always, thanks for the heads up, I will mentally prepare myself.

I just wanted to drop a line and let you know how much your photos inspire me – I love them! I’m a Swedish photo amateur and nowhere near you when it comes to photo skills, but your photos really speak to me, so I keep coming back for ideas and inspiration!

I actually spent one year in Bloomington, Indiana:) So who knows, one of these days I might come back to Indiana and book a session for my family:)

Here’s the deal… from my experience. I have two kids (20 months apart in age). When my oldest does new things (pre-K, Kind, Middle School) it’s exciting! As parents, we’re on the journey with her. It’s all new to us too. With our youngest… every milestone is so emotional (and deep down… sad). So… there’s the truth and now you know. ๐Ÿ˜‰

AND… we never did break down to buy the jogging stroller (we had three other kinds instead) but looking back we SHOULD have just got the double jogger and been done with it. ๐Ÿ™‚ Better late than never!

you and John are just amazing…and Miles just fills in the spaces that makes you guys, perfection. I am so proud to be the Grandma. Watching all this happens, thrills me..so proud ..MOM

He looks like he’s having so much fun! I can’t decide if I’ll be sad this week either. I agree, when they are having so much fun and you know they are enjoying themselves and learning it’s hard not to be proud instead of sad. We’ll compare notes this week to see if we both make it tear free! ๐Ÿ™‚

Preschool is so exciting! He is going to be the class genius! Let me in on that jogging stroller, i want a nice one so bad. Oh, and Miles will never be too old to sit on your lap. My brother sat on my mom’s lap until he was 19. Mothers and sons always have that special bond!

softest cheeks ever

I have a feeling Iโ€™m going to blink my eyes and heโ€™ll be 16, sitting at the table without a shirt on, staring out the window as he eats his cereal. Since Iโ€™m discovering it all goes by so fast, I will kiss and squeeze those cheeks as much and just eat him up as…

it really does Betsy. Please enjoy every single moment, or you’ll blink and he’s telling you that he no longer likes it when you kiss or touch him — ๐Ÿ™‚ They become very independent so quickly.

    Enjoy it, Please!

sharing my man behind the scenes

Guess what!? John started something really cool today, and thatโ€™s what this whole post is about. But itโ€™s kind of a long post, so hang in there with me for the whole story, especially if you are a photographer. My hubby John is such a great behind the scenes supporter of my business. He has…

Best Wishes to John on his new creative business endeavor, that is so cool! I have been trying to figure out a slide show forever that would play my hubby’s band’s music to a slideshow for my photography. This was the only software I found that would do the job. I haven’t bought it yet because I thought I should do a bit more research, but I think you just convinced me to go and purchase this software, yay! Which one do you use, the lite or pro? Thanks! PS you have such an adorable family!

labor day, truly a day of labor

Today, as I was cleaning out the old playroom closet to move Milesโ€™ stuff in there, I moved an old inkjet printer (that had been stored on itโ€™s side) to another room. I popped it down on a bin and went back to grab another item. As I walked back in I noticed a bunch… Related Posts Plugin for WordPress, Blogger...

OOOH – I am SO coveting one of those cleaners now! Sorry to hear you had to manual labor it up on Labor Day!

  • RoySeptember 8, 2009 - 4:59 am

Spray lubricant such as WD-40 or Triflow on the stain. Let sit for a few minutes. Wipe the stain down with a sponge and warm soapy water. Rinse with warm water. Let dry.
